Hello! My name is Andy Nilsen. I am the Owner and Pastry Chef of Andy’s Cakes. I have 20 years of industry experience. I enjoy providing my clients with artistic alternatives to the basic celebration cake. This passion all started on a small step stool in my Mom’s kitchen as a child. I followed my love for cooking and baking straight into culinary school and later specialized in the art of cake decorating, sugar and chocolate work.
I have made a very special connection with sugary confections and consider myself lucky to be doing work that brings me such joy. Word of mouth has been so wonderfully kind to me and has made my business what it is today. My goal is to gain clients for life. I work tirelessly to always exceed my client’s expectations. It’s that trusted working relationship that leads to making a lifetime of cakes for all my client families.
